Thanks to the fact that the game is rendered in full 3D, you can freely roam around the campus and use the mouse to control the camera in order to look around and choose your next target. Naturally, most of the girls you try to charm over the course of the game are students as well and they all have different personalities, some of which might be quicker to respond to your advances than others, depending on the situation. Since, as previously mentioned, Larry is taking classes at the local community college and that is where the action takes place as well. Although most of the dialog is scripted, you do get to influence how things pan out, by taking part in funny mini-games and choosing the desired attitude toward the target. Just as his uncle before him, the young Larry isn't too popular with women either, but he does his best to change that.Īs far as the story is concerned, you play the role of the man himself and you must help him overcome his legendary streak of bad luck and poor decisions, by perfecting the art of smooth talking girls into dating you, using clever pick-up lines and various other tricks. Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude continues the long tradition of dirty jokes and humorous situations by casting Larry Lovage as the main character, who is no other than the nephew of the famous lady expert Larry Laffer, which was the center of the franchise before this installment. The fact that he is enrolled at a community college and rarely leaves his dorm is not too helpful either, but all that's about to be history, after a reality TV commercial changes his perspective on the entire situation and inspires him to take action.
The world of Larry Lovage is not as glamorous as he makes it out to be, especially not when it comes to his dating life.
